Happy Workforce, Thriving Business

How can we increase the satisfaction, work motivation, engagement, and "sense of belonging" of employees?

In today's volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) environment, professionals face a wide variety of demands. The research report found that 2 in 5 bank managers describe their job as “extremely stressful”. Factors contributing to workplace stress for Vietnamese bank workers include pressures from work, superiors, income, time, relationships, and working conditions (Nguyen, 2018).

Regarding their employees' mental health, businesses in various industries face various challenges. The World Health Organization estimates that the rate of anxiety disorders and depression increased by about 25% compared to the same period before the COVID-19 pandemic. Mental health issues such as PTSD (up to 32%), depression (15%), and anxiety disorder (14% to 8%) are common among those who have recovered from COVID-19. Depression and anxiety cause people to miss about 12 billion work days every year, which costs the world $1 billion every year in lost output. (WHO, 2022).

Given this, each organization needs to take urgent action to enhance the productivity of the workforce. The Employee Assistance Program is a comprehensive solution for businesses to take care of their employees' overall well-being.

With years of experience in consulting and conducting mental health care services for businesses, the Vietnam - France Psychology Institute (VFPI) offers the Employee Assistance Program (EAP). We assist businesses in taking care of the mental well-being of their employees and managers, boosting productivity, and building up sustainable values for the business in the long run.
